I keep getting woken up at ridiculous hours by these chaps purporting to be from Virgin Media, insisting there's an issue with my router. What a load of nonsense! I made it perfectly clear that I didn’t want to hear from them again, but it seems that was a futile effort - they’ve rung me twice more since! Absolute fraudsters, if you ask me!

Over the past couple of days, I've been getting loads of calls from different 0117 numbers. It started with one pretending to be Virgin, which was a total scam. Since then, I've just been blocking them as they ring. The numbers are something like 01174090568, 01174094995, and 01179116873 - the last one actually called me twice in the past three hours. These calls are definitely becoming more frequent and a bit creepier!

Got a couple of calls from this number really early in the morning, didn't even bother answering properly. You can tell it’s some sort of automated scam ‘cause when you pick up, they don’t say anything, just some weird noise or nonsense in the background. Didn’t waste time giving them any chance.

Once I expressed my doubts, pointing out that it's actually against the law to call customers before 9 in the morning, and added a rather unflattering term, he abruptly ended the call. I'm willing to bet this won't be the final encounter with these nuisances.

Finally got a call after waiting ages, and the caller claimed to be from Virgin Media. When they said their name was "Sarah," it honestly sounded like they weren't even sure themselves. Pretty obvious it was dodgy, so I just blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number early morning 15/2/22 around 7:29am. The person said they were from Virgin Mobile and warned me about some illegal stuff happening with my internet. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve had calls like this, must be the tenth or more. Like always, when I asked them for my account number, they just dropped the call straight away.

Got a call at 7:22am and if you have unwell family members, you’ll understand the panic that hits you hearing the landline ring then. The person said they were from Amazon once they finally talked. I didn’t bother hearing any more after that.

I got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from SKY, talking about my broadband. They tried to get me to switch over to my mobile and then asked me to use teamviewer so they could do some sort of check. It smelt like a total SCAM to me! Once I told them I wasn’t comfortable and wasn’t interested, I just ended the call. They were trying to spell out teamviewer to get remote access to my phone - I wasn’t having any of that.

They called our landlord’s number twice, which nobody actually has, and were quite pushy and unpleasant before just hanging up on us. The guy claimed there was a problem with our router, but I told him we had no issues and asked what the call was about. He said he was with Sky, so I asked for some account details to prove he really worked there, but he refused. Totally sounded like one of those scam call centre jobs. I received a rather peculiar call from a gent with a distinct Indian accent. He enquired about my well-being without introducing himself. He asserted that he was representing Virgin Media, yet surprisingly, he didn’t bother to confirm who the account holder was nor did he request any personal information. Instead, he claimed there was some nefarious goings-on with my broadband account, alleging it had been flagged for unauthorised activity involving illicit downloads in the past few days. The amusing part? I don’t even have an account with Virgin Media! When I pressed him for clarification on whom he thought he was speaking with, he mumbled something inaudible and abruptly ended the call. Quite strange!

This morning at around half past nine, I received a call from a rather charming gentleman named "John."
