He kept asking loads of personal questions like where I work and when I might be job hunting again. I stayed quiet and ended the call pretty quickly. Later on, I looked up Echelon Recruitment and found out they’d shut down ages ago. So this was obviously a phishing attempt, probably trying to suss out my employer to pitch a replacement for me.
