Got called like 8 times in one day! All missed calls, no voicemail or nothing. I never pick up numbers I don’t know cause I figure if it’s important, they’ll leave a message.

Got repeated calls from 0117 332 0988, so I called back and got a voicemail. It was supposedly from Crisis, but I have no clue when I agreed for them to have my number! The message told me to email [email protected][###][###] (note there are two Ls in ethicall). I’ve sent them an email but unsure if it’s gonna do any good. They also mentioned a phone number 0117 244 9358 to call if you want your number taken off their list. Not quite harassment but still a bit of a pain, so I marked it as neutral. They really need a ‘p###’ filter on here :)

I've had six calls from this number over the past week. Most of the time, I either couldn't pick up or opted not to because it was an unknown caller at an inconvenient hour. If there's a genuine reason for the call, why not just leave a message? It's quite frustrating, especially if it's from a charity to which I've already contributed, as some other users have speculated.

Every time I fill out a form, I make it abundantly clear that I only wish to be reached via email. It doesn't matter if it's a charity for the homeless or anything else; if I've indicated my preference, it ought to be respected. The persistent calls I've received from this number have been relentless, ringing me nearly every day for weeks on end-infinitely more bothersome than those pesky PPI firms. I really ought to let them know that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which makes their unsolicited calls illegal.
