Got a call from a lady claiming to be Katie who somehow knew my full name and where I live. She said something about a new government scheme so emergency services could have details of every house. She said her team would be visiting my street today to check on the records. I mentioned I’d just talked with a fire brigade person about this, then she abruptly ended the call. Feels a bit sketchy and could be risky if whoever’s behind this tries to get into people’s homes.

It showed up flagged as likely spam, looked almost the same as another number that was ringing me loads, only the last couple of digits were different. So, I just blocked it.
