I've been receiving some rather dodgy automated calls for the past couple of days. They keep insisting that my Virgin internet account has been compromised, claiming there's some nefarious activity on my account. It urges me to press 1 to check my settings-absolute nonsense, if you ask me! Strangely enough, these calls arrive right after I’ve received a different one from what’s purportedly Virgin, the number being 08000521251. If I don’t pick up, the voicemail is filled with an incredibly irritating thumping sound that just drones on until the beep. Does anyone know how to put a stop to these pesky calls?
