i keep receving calls from a bristol area code but i dont know anyone there. so i usually look up the number on this site, see what others say, and then block it. i avoid picking up whenever i can, but if im in the car the call sometimes gets through. i never let them talk though, i hang up straight away. they are defo annoying and persistent.

That number looked familiar so I just decided to ignore it. After seeing all the posts here, I blocked it straight away. Then I got an email claiming to be from Amazon but I reckon it was a fake. Didn’t bother replying, just deleted it. Haven’t bought anything from Amazon in a long time anyway. Just a heads up, don’t pick up calls from strangers - if it’s important, they’ll leave a message.

Got a call from this number but no message left. Could be a scam or just a nuisance, hard to say! Just watch out if they ring you back. Don’t share any personal info if they start asking. I’ve blocked it now, better safe than sorry.

I just barely answered the phone, and the caller ended the call right away - my phone only rang a couple of times before I even got to it.

So, a couple of days ago I got a call from this bloke trying to peddle a fridge, and I just told him no thanks, not interested. Then later, another ring came through, this time it was a woman trying to sell me a telly. I told her exactly the same thing. Been getting these calls for a few days now, pretty annoying.

Got three calls back to back from different numbers, but the bloke sounded pretty much the same, like an Indian accent. Ended up just dropping the phone while he was still yabbering on.
