3 yearsI tried ringing them back but it just says the number’s invalid!4 yearsSome twit talking all posh and fake, proper rude too, like they thought they were better than everyone else.5 yearsI received a rather unsettling call from a woman with a strong Indian accent, and I must say, her command of English left much to be desired. Claiming to represent the NHS, she rather abruptly inquired about my vaccination status regarding Covid-19. When she pressed for specifics about when I received my doses, I pointed out that if she were indeed affiliated with the NHS, she'd already have that information at her fingertips. Her response was to mutter something unsavoury before abruptly ending the call. It's just another instance of these callers, who seem to have little regard for integrity, exploiting the system from abroad to engage in deceitful activities. It’s quite baffling how such individuals are allowed to operate unchecked. What’s needed is a more robust approach to dealing with these kinds of scams - they are certainly not doing anyone any favours.NHSCovid - 195 yearsIn Bristol, I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise.
