This phone keeps ringing non-stop all day from about 9 in the morning till 8 at night. They mix it up - sometimes it’s dead silence, sometimes weird giggling, or they say a name, other times it’s just a sales pitch straight away. It’s proper annoying and feels like harassment. I’ve signed up to the TPS but they still manage to get through. I’m disabled and rely on my phone, this kind of constant cold-calling should seriously be banned.

Got a ring from this number today, 6th May, and I didn’t pick up, just like I don’t with any number I don’t know. That’s why I have caller ID, right? If you pick up random numbers even once, you’re basically handing your info over to loads of telemarketers. Anyway, I faked a poor connection and said I’d grab my grandson to chat, then left her talking to the radio while I sorted some washing. Kinda wish I’d told her I was 110! They kept throwing out loads of questions, guessing stuff about factory work and hearing problems. My tip? Just go along with it like I did. After every question, say "sorry?" and see how quickly they catch on that you’re having a laugh. This caller reckoned I’m a 45-year-old bloke who’s spent 20 years as an engineer at a place called 'uratit (you are a tit) limited.' Apparently, I’m also off to a seminar somewhere in the Midlands one Thursday. Truth is, I’m 27, a GP, and live in Surrey. Honestly, just let them get on with it. Got two calls from this number today, only 7 mins between them. How is it possible these calls keep happening? I didn't pick up, I always just block numbers like this as soon as I see them. It's really annoying, I really don't need this hassle and I've got way more important stuff to get on with.

Been getting calls from them for weeks non stop. They stop for a bit then start ringing again. They call themselves National Incident Clinic about some industrial deafness thing. Really fed up telling them to remove us from their list! None of us have ever worked in that field - not a single person at this address has! We never asked for info about their services and never will! Plus we're ex-directory and on the TPS! So how come they have our details and are misusing them? I’ve had more than enough of repeatedly informing these callers that I have absolutely no interest in industrial hearing aids or any form of compensation they’re trying to peddle! Honestly, it's ridiculous! I’m on the verge of taking this matter to the TPS and ICO, and possibly involving the police if they continue their relentless calling! They shouldn’t even possess my number, as I’m ex-directory and have never, nor will I ever, seek out their so-called services! If they don’t give it a rest, I’m seriously thinking about pursuing a private case for harassment.

Just got a call from someone who said it was about stuff from when I was a kid and worked in a factory. She got quite rude when I asked where she got my number since I'm unlisted and on the TPS. She kept insisting it was about my time working in a factory years ago. When I told her I didn’t even live here back then and had a different phone number, she just hung up on me in a really abrupt way. These callers seriously wind me up.

Today, I received a couple of calls from this particular number. The first time I picked up, but there was absolutely nobody on the other end. Curious, I decided to ring back and was met with a rather automated voice informing me that I’d been contacted by the National Advice Line and advising me to call an 0115 number. I have no plans to dial that number, mind you. Shortly after, I got another call from an 0117 number, which I chose to let go to voicemail, but surprise, surprise-they didn’t leave a message. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

I received an odd call from 0117 294 9987. They inquired about whether I had ever contracted any animal-related viruses. I mentioned I hadn’t been to Asia in a couple of years, and then they asked if I had any experience in the ice cream trade. I couldn’t quite understand the connection! When I probed further about how they'd come across my information, the caller had the audacity to ask if I was the manager. When I played along and said yes, they suddenly started making bizarre farm animal sounds and probed about my opinion on the matter! Completely baffled, I replied with ‘ostrich with a stutter’ out of sheer confusion. To my surprise, they abruptly ended the call. Quite the strange encounter this morning! For ages, I've courteously informed these brigands that no one associated with my number has ever worked in any industry that would lead to industrial hearing loss, which they keep pestering me about. Their approach is both intrusive and vague, and it seems they have been harassing me on and off for years. Honestly, I'm fed up with reiterating my request to be removed from their unethically gathered database. Received a rather peculiar call earlier today. The chap on the other end seemed to be fishing for information, claiming he thought I had some experience “in the industry”. When I queried which industry he meant, I couldn’t help but point out that he ought to know since he’s the one who called me. He responded, saying it was a “security question”. I made it clear that I wasn’t keen to engage with him, and he laughed, insisting he would have someone ring me back. Then, just like that, he ended the call! The number was supposedly from the Advice Centre. Quite the odd encounter, if you ask me!

I received a rather peculiar phone call today from an individual who claimed to have obtained my information from the hearing clinic situated in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. They mentioned they intended to send me some correspondence, but abruptly hung up when I inquired further. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a message stating it was from the National Advice Clinic. Strangely, they provided me with a number, 0115762990, to call back. I won’t be giving that a ring! What baffles me is why they chose to disconnect, and what sort of ruse this might be. I'm thoroughly exasperated with these constant interruptions, especially since I'm unable to secure any compensation for my hearing issues. What’s the point of the call in the first place?
