I'm really at my wits' end with this company. Every day, I'm inundated with two or three calls on my landline. They only ever provide a first name, claiming to be from something like the 'Claims Advisory Service' and insisting that there's a file concerning me that needs closing. They allege that there's an outstanding payment owed to me stemming from some accident, and they’re keen to know why I haven’t sorted it out. The moment I start prying into who they actually are, or who sent them, I get the stock answer - "oh, no one, your number's just on a database we obtained from a third-party." If I push for more info - like how they got my details or where their office is located - the call abruptly cuts off. These brief exchanges give me nothing to work with so I can report them to the Telephone Preference Service. They require a company name and address before they'll consider taking action. I can’t shake the feeling that this is a dodgy scheme and not at all above board, possibly designed to tug me into hiring a personal injury solicitor or something along those lines. The names they’ve gone by include Claims Advisory Service, Legal Motor Services, and Claims Services.

Received a call from someone inquiring about a recent 'Bump' I'd experienced whilst driving. I replied with a firm 'No,' to which he followed up by asking if I'd reported any 'Bump on the road' to my insurer. Again, I reiterated 'No,' and then he abruptly ended the call. Just to clarify, I'm not actually listed with my own insurance a policy; I'm merely a named driver on a couple of others. The caller identified themselves as ABS Nationwide.

Received a call from 0117 294 2840, droning on about a so-called car accident I’ve supposedly been involved in! What accident?! Sounds like someone’s using cloned licence plates or something! Firstly, I'm curious where they’ve sourced that info from-completely fabricated, I reckon. Total con artists! And just to set the record straight, my car’s sitting in the garage; I’m a bike rider! Absolute numpties!
