I've received more than four calls from a number that identifies itself as Gregson and Brookes. However, the caller is quite evasive about what the company actually does. They already have my number but keep insisting on speaking to my husband instead. It's all very peculiar!

I keep receiving calls from Gregson & Brookes. Honestly, I've not the foggiest who they are or what they want, yet they persist in ringing me repeatedly!

Keeps calling without a moment's pause.

Received a call from a gentleman representing Gregson and Rookes, who was inquiring about the previous occupant of my residence from over six years ago. When I probed into what the company actually does, he was rather elusive with his response. After a lengthy and somewhat circular conversation, he disconnected. I decided to ring the number again and opted for option '2' to have my details removed from their database-let's see how that pans out. As for their line of work, it appears they're in the business of chasing down potentially mis-sold PPI (payment protection insurance) policies from the past.

The call disconnected as soon as I answered.
