As soon as I answered, they hung up. This was the first time I got a call from this spoofed number. Definitely a scam.

They called looking for someone else, but when I told them they had dialled the wrong number, they asked if I wanted to handle the promotion instead.

I got a call about an issue with my account, and apparently they left a voicemail too, but when I called back they said they didn’t leave any message. I ended up calling three times, and each time they told me everything was fine with my account and to just block that number.

someone rang me up chatin about this charity and tried pushin me to set up a d/d right then n there. i had to keep sayin no, i’m not comfortable sharin my bank details on the phone, till they finally gave in and hung up pretty sharpish. definitely came off like a cold call.
