Got a call from someone with a classic Indian accent, only knew my first name. They claimed I’d taken part in a local survey and even mentioned my postcode. I questioned him right away about where he’d got my info from. To his credit, he wasn’t pushy or rude at all - quite respectful actually. When I pressed about how they got my details, he said it was down to consent from surveys for marketing. Eventually, he just hung up on me.
