Absolutely useless! The person on the phone never gave a proper introduction and refused to say why they were calling. They came across very dodgy, so I just hung up. It wasn't until I read other people's comments here that I figured out the call was probably related to Currys, where I did buy something not long ago. If this was meant to be customer support, it’s definitely the worst I’ve experienced by a mile. Feels more like some random company trying to push a useless add-on or service.

Just to let everyone know, this is definitely Currys calling about insurance for a camera I recently got. I rang them up to double-check whether they were Currys or some outside company, and they said it was Currys themselves. I was trying to figure out if my info was being passed on to anyone else. I declined the insurance and they told me if I decide later, I can just pop into one of their stores to sort it out.

Got two calls from this number trying to push insurance for stuff I bought online at Currys just a few days ago. They asked for my bank details to set up a direct debit right over the phone. I got a legit call from Curry’s/PCWorld recently. I bought a laptop for a mate and they phoned to let me know it’s on its way. They did ask if I wanted insurance, but since it was for my mate who’s not great with online stuff, I couldn’t decide right then.
