They purport to be representatives from Fonehouse UK, yet I know that Fonehouse is situated in London, while this call came from Leicestershire. Just a heads-up: it’s definitely a scam. Avoid picking up if this number tries to reach you!

A chap phoned me, pretending to represent EE, insisting he had some enticing offer on a brand new mobile. He wouldn't stop prodding about the make and model of my current phone. Once I started to question his intentions more closely, the whole scam came tumbling out-he was angling to purchase a phone using my account details for his own gain! Upon being caught out, he sheepishly acknowledged it and promptly hung up. Just a word of advice: steer clear of giving any information out. Best to end the conversation and block the number without hesitation!
