I got a call from this number, and since the area code was local, I picked up. There was complete silence on the other end before they just ended the call. Still clueless about who it was.

Got a call and as soon as I answered, the line went dead - no one said a word. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam.

Apologies for missing the call from an unfamiliar number; they didn’t bother leaving a message. Should they ring again, I’ll be sure to pick it up and provide an update afterwards.

Some bloke called me, said his name was Mark and he claimed to be an energy advisor for my region. Thing is, I don’t even live close to Leicester, so I quickly told him to buzz off and ended the call. Totally feels like a dodgy scam to me.
