I can't believe these dodgy phone callers have been going on since May 2022 and yet the police or government haven't done anything about it. Make sure your older relatives and pals know not to chat with these tricksters. I've had to tell my mum over and over again not to speak to anyone on the phone she doesn’t know. If she gets a call from some random number, it’s most likely a scam, so she simply shouldn't pick up. I've told her to only answer if she recognises the number.

They seemed to have all my covid info already, which was a bit creepy. Then, out of nowhere, they asked if I had life insurance. I told them I didn’t think I needed it. Their response was something like "I'm super human". I repeated that I didn’t want any insurance and then they just hung up on me. Definitely sounded like a life insurance scam to me. I've blocked the number now.
