I got a call from a bloke speaking with a British accent about some life insurance policy, but I’ve never had one. He somehow already had my name, where I live, my birthday and where I work. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.

Today, I received a call from a rather articulate gentleman who was attempting to sell me a life insurance plan. While his manner of speaking was impressive, I must admit I found his tenacity and somewhat forceful approach rather off-putting after I declined his proposal. It crossed my mind that he might not be entirely above board. His persuasive technique certainly raised a few red flags!

Got a call from a lady wanting to chat with someone with a really unusual foreign name, told her she must have the wrong number. Lately, loads of calls like that, all asking for different people. Anyone got a clue what these calls are about?

I've been receiving calls from this number every single day at precisely 10:41am, and they've also reached out from 0116 4736462. Even after I've blocked them, they just switch to another number to keep pestering me. It's obvious this is a scam, so I'm definitely not picking up.

Beware of a scammer calling themselves uk preference. They keep ringing you over and over, pushing for money, and then suddenly just cut off the call without saying goodbye or anything. The number seems to be from India. Really rude behaviour.
