STRANGE!!! I called back the missed call, and all I got was one word, “incoming,” then a full minute of some sort of classical music playing. I’ve blocked this number now, so it won’t bug me anymore. Got called by Life Review, just like the rest. Had a couple of silent rings before they finally spoke. They rushed the name so fast, hoping you wouldn’t notice. I looked up "Life Review" quickly and couldn’t find any firm offering the "Independent Life Insurance Review" that they mention. This feels pretty dodgy and misleading. The law they chat about (EU Gender Directive) was updated over 3 years ago, not recently like they claim. Seems like a sneaky tactic to grab your info, better to block them.

Got a call from a cold caller just seeing if numbers are live. Somebodys sold my info without my say so. I’m registered with the TPS for both my landline and mobile. Got a blocking system on to zap any unwanted or annoying calls, especially those dodgy ones from overseas messing with the number display. It looked like a UK number, but it wasn’t. The call centre was from Johannesburg or somewhere similar, probably because they get paid next to nothing there.

Rather aggressive telemarketer! They were on about a life insurance assessment, but the kicker is, I don’t even possess one! Rather tricky to assess something that isn't in existence, isn’t it? When I requested the caller’s complete name along with the full details of their company and its registered office, they abruptly ended the call. Have since blocked their number.

Life Insurance Assessment Service - I was told I hadn’t had a review in more than a year. When I asked how they knew that, they said they worked with companies like Aviva and Scottish Widows. I mentioned that I’d worked as a financial adviser before and challenged them to name which policy they meant if they were legit.
