They said they were from Vodafone, but as soon as they found out I wasn’t the person they were after, they just said they’d ring someone else and then cut off. After seeing the other reviews, I’m a bit unsure what to think now.

Got a call from a woman who kept asking loads of questions. I said I wasn't interested but she just kept pushing, saying something about needing an inspection. She was pretty persistent so I just ended the call.

A woman rang about loft insulation, claiming she was with a market research firm and it wasn’t a sales pitch. I told her I wasn’t interested, asked where she got my info from, and said I don’t want unsolicited calls. She just hung up on me. I’m getting at least a couple of annoying calls every day from scammers and salespeople. Seems like BT aren’t bothered about fixing this, so I’m thinking of ending my contract with them.

This woman called me up, already knew my name and that I owned the house. She claimed to be from some company called Resolve and said they fixed problems with homes. I told her I wasn’t interested and asked her to stop calling. Then she just said “oh really” and hung up on me!

I got a BT phone that blocks all the annoying calls. Honestly, it's the best purchase I've made. It shows who called but keeps quiet so I don’t get disturbed. If someone rings who's not on my list, they have to say who they are first, then it rings for me and i choose whether to pick up. Those tossers and the like usually just hang up, so it's peaceful on my side.

Got a call from this number and a lady on the line claimed she was from a company named Resolve (which I looked up and is real, but not located in Leicester). She said they do surveys and offer guidance on insulation stuff. She asked loads about our loft insulation and wanted to come round for a free check. Got called loads of times from this number, like 4 times just this week. First time, the bloke actually knew my name and said he was from some Resolve company, something about home energy. I said I was busy and he said he’d call back. Then I got three more calls from the same number but no one talks when I pick up. Definitely not answering again. Feels a bit suspicious to me.

i've been getting loads of calls from similar numbers recently, all saying they're from government schemes about loft insulation or energy saving, but they’re clearly fake. it worries me that bt might be allowing these numbers to be used, and i reckon they should be held accountable to stop folks or businesses using them for dodgy reasons!

Lately ive been telling overseas scam callers that i dont live at my place anymore (like saying "no, she’s moved out") to try and stop them. But then this number rings about loft insulation and they ask if i still live here and if it’s my house. Bit fishy how they want to confirm i live here right after i tried to put people off like that, seems like too much of a coincidence.

some woman called saying she was from some national energy database which is complete rubbish cos that doesnt even exist. then she mentioned something called resolve. she was asking about when we last had our loft insulation looked at. total waste of time, dodgy and unsolicited. we are on the tps!

They even claimed they've got some kind of NHS endorsement to contact people about a survey or something. Odd thing is, how do they even get hold of our phone number, but there's no way to find out who they actually are or where they’re located? Bit fishy if you ask me.

a number from leicester showing up and its linked to nexbridge communications. they seem to use loads of different numbers and places, but i reckon they're either call centres or maybe even dodgy calls. if ur unsure, just dont pick up and let your voicemail get it, they usually give up pretty quick.

So, this bloke said he was Jamie and claimed to be ringing from some Government house insulation scheme. He reckoned it’s been over two years since our insulation was fitted and said we needed a check-up to see if it was still doing its job. I told him I keep an eye on the insulation myself quite often and wasn’t interested in any kind of inspection. I also mentioned that we're on the ex-directory list and signed up to TPS, but he kept on pushing. He tried to book us in for some inspection, but as far as I know, that ain’t compulsory. Honestly, feels a bit dodgy to me, like they might be casing the joint for a distraction burglary or trying to figure out if it’s worth breaking in.

I got a call from this number saying I’d been involved in a car accident sometime in the last three years, which is totally untrue. They knew my name, my address, and even brought up my car. The bloke claimed my number was given to him by some 'van compare insurance'. He kept saying I’d ticked a box admitting to an accident. Thing is, I just renewed my car insurance recently, it’s not even for a van, I never used that site, and there’s no way I’d admit to an accident I wasn’t in. When I expressed concerns about how much info he had and mentioned the Data Protection Act, he said he’d transfer me to his supervisor. I waited on the line for about 30 seconds then just hung up.
