A lady called earlier and started asking me some questions. I informed her that I wasn't interested, but she continued questioning me and insisted that an inspection would be necessary. She was quite assertive. Consequently, I decided to end the call by hanging up.

I told her I wasn’t interested, asked where she got my info from, and said I don’t want unsolicited calls. She just hung up on me. I’m getting at least a couple of annoying calls every day from scammers and salespeople. Seems like BT aren’t bothered about fixing this, so I’m thinking of ending my contract with them.

A young lady recently introduced herself to me, acknowledging that I was the owner of my house. She claimed to be from Resolve, a company dedicated to resolving issues faced by homeowners. As soon as she mentioned this, I politely informed her that I wasn't interested and kindly requested her to end the phone call. To my surprise, she responded snippily with an understated "oh really" before abruptly hanging up.

I got a BT phone that blocks all the annoying calls. Honestly, it's the best purchase I've made. It shows who called but keeps quiet so I don’t get disturbed. If someone rings who's not on my list, they have to say who they are first, then it rings for me and i choose whether to pick up. Those tossers and the like usually just hang up, so it's peaceful on my side.

Lately ive been telling overseas scam callers that i dont live at my place anymore (like saying "no, she’s moved out") to try and stop them. But then this number rings about loft insulation and they ask if i still live here and if it’s my house. Bit fishy how they want to confirm i live here right after i tried to put people off like that, seems like too much of a coincidence.

a number from leicester showing up and its linked to nexbridge communications. they seem to use loads of different numbers and places, but i reckon they're either call centres or maybe even dodgy calls. if ur unsure, just dont pick up and let your voicemail get it, they usually give up pretty quick.

I received a call from someone named Jamie, who claimed to be calling from the Government House Insulation Register. He informed me that it had been over 2 years since our insulation was done and that we were scheduled for an inspection to ensure its effectiveness. I promptly informed him that I routinely check the insulation myself and had no interest in participating in any survey. I also mentioned that we were, in fact, ex-directory and registered with the TPS, but this didn't discourage him. Jamie persistently tried to schedule the inspection, although I am not aware of any mandatory requirement for such an assessment. Personally, I suspect that this could be an attempt at distraction burglary or a preliminary inspection to determine whether it's worth burglarizing the property.

I received a call from a number claiming that I had been involved in an accident within the past 3 years, which is not true. Interestingly, they knew my name, address, and even mentioned my car. The caller stated that my contact information was obtained from 'van compare insurance'. However, I recently renewed my car insurance, with no involvement from that particular website. Moreover, I would never have indicated that I had been in an accident on any form. When I expressed my concern about how much personal information they had access to and mentioned the Data Protection Act, the caller insisted on putting me through to their supervisor.
