I received a rather dubious phone call claiming I was due a £3,500 payout due to an incident with my car last October! Apparently, there’s a so-called discomfort claim that’s just sitting there waiting for me. It all seemed rather dodgy, to say the least. The caller insisted on connecting me to his supervisor, mentioning that insurance companies tend to keep this sort of thing under wraps. Honestly, I’ve never come across such a preposterous situation before. I informed him I’d do a bit of research regarding the phone number he was using, and while he continued to prattle on, I decided to terminate the call. He even attempted to ring me back, but I had to disconnect yet again!
