They claimed to be with "Icall Telecom" and said they were a UK telecom company trying to help cut down on phone bills. The woman’s accent sounded like she was somewhere overseas, not local. When I asked where they were calling from, all she kept saying was "Icall Telecom," but after I pressed, she hesitated and eventually said "Brighton". I wanted to know how they got my sister’s number, and she just said "from the database." I told her this number is on the TPS list, and she quickly said sorry and that they’d take it off their calling list. Also, the number is from Leicester, so Brighton doesn’t add up at all, plus when I tried calling back with the 141 prefix, it said "number not recognized".
