Earlier today, I received a call from a chap with a strong foreign accent who seemed to struggle with English. He claimed to have a lawsuit involving my name, which completely baffled me! The bloke accused me of tax fraud, which was utterly ludicrous. I could hardly process what I was hearing, so I just ended the call without a second thought!

From my experience, if the phone hangs up after about 4 or 5 rings, it's almost always some telemarketer.

They called and already had my name right, asked me to confirm it though. The company name was really unclear, sounded all muffled, couldn't make it out at all. When I asked them who they actually were, they just ended the call. Feels like they were probably just checking if my details were correct or something, but no idea for sure. Anyway, I've blocked the number now.

I rang the number back and it turned out to be some automated thing from ‘I love my offers’. Honestly, bit of a strange call!
