It seems like I've stumbled upon what looks to be a scam from HMRC. I received a rather mechanical message on my voicemail that felt rather menacing. When I tried to return the call, I was told that my mother-in-law had an outstanding balance of £2500. However, the moment I started asking a few questions, they abruptly disconnected the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
