I got a ring from some bloke saying he was with British Gas. He gave me an MPRN but couldn’t tell me the address or account number, which seemed a bit dodgy. When I told him I wasn’t going to share any info, he got quite snappy. Definitely felt off to me.

I got a call about some British Gas deal, which I don’t even have. I just hung up, and then they rang back calling me rude for ending the call. They said they were trying to help with my British Gas contract, but I kept asking what address it was about. After that, they just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number since then.

Some bloke was talking super quick, all over the place! He wanted to confirm if we'd received a renewal letter from British Gas. Kept saying he needed to be sure it went to the right person, like he wasn't fully convinced it was addressed properly... But he did say it wasn’t a sales pitch or anything, so no need to panic, just checking if the letter had reached us. I honestly just gave vague answers and didn’t commit to anything. Quite an odd call, really.
