I've been receiving calls from this number directed at my mum for the past few weeks. They keep claiming that, despite her no longer being with TalkTalk, she’s still footing the bill, and they’re trying to process a refund. I mentioned her computer is on the blink, so we can't follow their dubious instructions. They promised to ring back in thirty minutes to check if we've managed to get our hands on another device. This is just one in a long line of calls from these people; many of which have been downright threatening, saying things like “You’ll be sorry” and “We know exactly who you are, watch your step.” Absolutely shocking behaviour!

Someone rang me pretending to be from TalkTalk, the same old trick about my computer having some kind of problem. I reported it to TalkTalk but they didn’t really do anything, just told me it’s not their responsibility if I keep getting these annoying calls. Now when they phone, I just say “Hello, Police Scotland here, how can I help you?” and they usually get all angry and hang up straight away.

Loads of TalkTalk employees and tech folks seem to be based in India, so makes you wonder about the quality of their info. Honestly, some of them have massive problems handling stuff. Not trying to stereotype, but if the shoe fits... they kinda come off like shady operators. Looks like this Leicester newsagent's phone got hacked. They've told the police and also Talk Talk's fraud team about it. Since then, the shop has had over 600 people calling back after seeing missed calls from this number. They said they’ll be switching to a new number in a couple of days.

This number rings me more than 4 times daily and they pretend to be from TalkTalk, which they definitely aren’t. I keep telling them to stop and to take my number off their list, but they just end the call and carry on phoning. They try to get you to use your computer and then ask for information so they can take over it, all while encouraging you to open your online banking.

For about a year now, I've been getting phone calls from Indian scammers using numbers starting with 0012, always pulling the classic "I'm from TalkTalk" routine. Their game is to get you to connect your computer to them so they can steal everything. Funny thing is, I recently switched to TalkTalk just under a week ago, and now a local Leicester number has been ringing me, also pretending to be TalkTalk. Something fishy is definitely happening here - these lot seem to have inside info and somehow find out exactly when people sign up with the real TalkTalk.

I've had numerous calls from this number, associated with a local newsagents here in the UK. It appears that fraudsters have taken control of the line, masquerading as representatives from TalkTalk. When I dared to inquire about their identity, I was insulted by being called a 'bastard', and my partner was shockingly told to 'bugger off' before they abruptly ended the call. It seems that a significant portion of TalkTalk's workforce, including their technicians, hail from-wait for it-India. This does make one wonder about the sources of their so-called expertise. Honestly, their intelligence-gathering abilities resemble those of a hippo trying to hide behind a daisy. Now, I don't wish to generalise, but if the shoe fits… you know how it goes! Their customer service is an absolute shambles-it's like hiring a professional vacuum cleaner to suck the life out of your patience. All their representatives have this uncanny similarity in tone and manner, despite the staggering array of accents out there. It feels like you're getting shafted from all angles. And let's not kid ourselves about the whole Leicester act; that's just a smokescreen! The newsagent has been bombarded with more than 600 calls from folks who got missed calls and then tried ringing back. They’re sorting a new phone number out, which should be done in a day or two.

Had three calls all in the space of an hour from different people: first one said he was Albert, then Christian, and finally Michael. They all said they were from TalkTalk about my router.
