Kept calling saying they were from some music licensing firm, really annoying.

Received a call from someone saying they were from PPLPRS, insisting it's a legal must to have a Music Licence. I explained we only rent a single office in a shared workspace and don’t host any music events or play tunes. They kept asking for the manager's details and kept pushing for a name, which I wouldn't share. I told them we’re fine without the licence and if needed, we’d contact the right people ourselves. They were really persistent, honestly felt like a dodgy scam or at least a very pushy outfit. The Government's official website has the proper PPLPRS contact info if you ever need a music licence, so I’d recommend checking there instead.

Heads up, this number keeps bugging me!

Received loads of calls from a bloke claiming to be with PPL PRS about some Music Licence fee. Pretty annoying to get these calls all the time. He first rang from 0113 539 9008, a landline we blocked, but now he's switched to this one. Stay cautious!

The call came from a number linked to Kuala Lumpur, or at least that's what the reverse lookup said. They tried to trick us with a bogus story about a music license and claimed they were from PPL PRS. Just a heads up to anyone who gets a call from this number - watch out!
