Had a rather curious phone call earlier from someone purporting to be with a security alarm firm. They were keen to find out what kind of alarm system we currently utilise and were offering to swing by for a complimentary demonstration while they were in our vicinity. Quite the unsolicited inquiry, I must say!

Got a call from 01159987425, some company saying they were just ‘nearby’. Didn’t trust it and ended up blocking the number.

I got a call from some firm that sells home alarm systems, probably legit but they just wouldn't accept my refusal. I had to just hang up on them eventually.

I'm completely baffled by this call. The caller was asking for my husband, but when I inquired about their identity, they were rather evasive. They insisted on speaking to him directly and refused to provide their name to me. I pressed for details, but the individual simply insisted that they would disclose who they were once they were speaking to my husband. Rather perplexed by the whole encounter, I decided to end the conversation.
