They called and asked if I owned the house, so I said I’d hand the phone over. Right after, they just ended the call.

Got a call from some security alarm company in Nottingham, never asked for it. They weren’t rude exactly, but kept pushing and just wouldn’t accept a polite "no thanks". Really persistent.

Had a really pushy bloke ringing me about some security gear. I mentioned we’re on the TPS list, and he just swore at me, told me to f*** off, proper rude. I rang back the number, but just got that annoying ‘caller knows you’re there’ message. Not impressed at all.

A pushy bloke from Bulldog Security over in Nottingham kept badgering me about testing out one of their alarms since they were nearby. I kept saying I wasn’t keen, but he just wouldn’t take the hint and got even more insistent that I give theirs a go, even though I told him I already have an alarm set up.

somebody said they were from a security firm and started off by giving me the supposed caller’s name and address - i mean, how secure is that if they’re blabbing all that info from the jump? not really reassuring at all!

I rang this number a few times and each time I was stuck on hold for more than 5 minutes. I couldn’t figure out what company it was, but it’s definitely not BT. Very frustrating!

some bloke said he was from bt security, wouldnt take no as an answer. told him he's got a better chance getting past my three rottweilers if he’s keen on checking out my security.
