8 monthsIt showed up as a scam number when I checked.10 monthsI checked out the number 0115 990 1287 after they rang me up. They claimed to be working for the Government and mentioned something about my PIP claim from a decade ago. They said there was a cheque waiting for me, nearly £6,000, as a one-time payment. But seriously, when does the Government ever ring you up out of the blue saying you have a cheque and then ask you to buy a £100 voucher from the post office, promising to give it back when they drop off the cheque? Pretty dodgy if you ask me. I told them I suspected it was a scam. They didn’t hang up straight away, but I ended the call.Government11 monthsI did a bit of digging on this firm and found out they actually provide their services to other telecom companies and platforms, not regular folks like me. So why are they ringing up about my life insurance? They’ve called before, telling me if I don’t chat with them my policy will be cancelled. Funny thing is, my policy's still going strong even after all this time. Feels like a total scam to me.Submit Your Own Report (0115 990 1287)
