I got a call from 01159103500 and it was quite hard to make out what the lady, who sounded Asian, was saying. She kept going on about some sort of internet issue I supposedly have. Honestly, it felt like just another one of those scam calls trying to trick me into paying for a problem that doesn’t really exist. Don’t fall for it!

Had a call from someone saying they were from BT, said they had our account details (sounded like they had an accent from India), and claimed we had to download an app on our mobiles to sort out a problem with our internet. When I asked if they could ring again later, they said no or we'd be offline for 25 days. I then asked who my broadband provider was and they just hung up. That’s all I needed to know. Honestly, this one’s quite dodgy and could easily fool elderly or vulnerable folks, so watch out!

So on the 3rd of November around half past one in the afternoon, I got a call in Sunderland that started off with nothing but silence. Suddenly, I hear a lady's voice on the other end, speaking with an Indian accent but her English was alright. She said she was from BT's tech team. I didn’t buy it and told her I doubted her story, then hung up and slammed that number onto my block list. At this point, I’ve got around 388 numbers blocked on my call blocker... anyone managed to top that?

Got a call on our landline today from this number, which is meant to be ex-directory and show as number withheld. The person claimed to be from BT saying our internet had big issues. I cut him off straight away, saying our internet works fine and he was trying to scam me. Of course, he denied it. I told him not to bother calling again, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be back!

Today I got a call from 01159103500, but I didn’t pick up because I was at work and my phone was on silent. The caller ID showed Nottingham County Court. After checking this site, I saw quite a few folks got calls around the same time and mentioned it could be a scam. I tried ringing the court back but it was just an automated system, so I couldn’t talk to a person. From what I’ve found online, there's a lot of scams using numbers pretending to be from courts.

My phone showed a call from Nottingham County Court, so I thought it was legit and picked up. A recorded voice started warning me that if I didn’t listen carefully, my National Insurance number could be cancelled. It then asked me to press 1 to talk to an officer immediately. I quickly hung up, but I can still feel anxious about it. I’m usually good with spotting scams, but this one had me fooled until the “Press 1” bit. When I looked the number up online, it even came back as Nottingham County Court.

Some bloke called saying he was a high court enforcement officer named Robert Jones. Before he got to the point, I just cut him off. He rang again later, and when we told him we knew it was a scam, he actually laughed and said, "I remember dealing with you before." What a cheeky git!

Today, I got a call from someone saying he was Robert Jones from the Birmingham High Court. Apparently, we supposedly owe £4996 because of missed payments to some Business Directory. The bloke even chatted to someone else in his "office" asking for our file, but oddly enough, there was no noise in the background at all. Also, the call came through with no number showing up, so watch out for that.

Got a call from this number yesterday, reckon the caller's reinvented themselves as Robert Jones now, claiming to be with Birmingham Court. The money they were after was nearly the same, just a different company name - Business Directory Ltd - but this time it was all about a writ supposedly about to be enforced. Said if we paid straight away into some holding account at Birmingham Court, they'd sort it out with the judge. We refused and then got threatened with bailiffs turning up within 3 days. Honestly, sounded pretty legit and I can see why some folks would fall for it.

We got a call at the office from some bloke saying police would arrive in half an hour, something about a follow-up from last week (the 14th). When my team tried to ask questions, they just hung up. We've let the police and fraud team know straight away and were told to call 999 if anyone actually shows up.

Today, we received a call from someone named Christopher 'Chris' Shepherd. He claimed to be a High Court Enforcement Officer and insisted our business owed a debt to Business Directory from a contract made in 2014, which we had supposedly breached. He threatened that bailiffs would arrive within 72 hours to seize all office equipment unless we paid £4,998.35 by 11 am sharp. When he told us this at 10:56, we nearly agreed but decided to look him up online first. Thankfully, we stumbled upon this page. Honestly, I feel for anyone else who’s fallen victim to him.

Chris Shepherd here, got hit with the same deal mentioned by others. They claim to have a platinum package and say it’s from some business directory or advert outfit. After no reply to emails, they threatened court action today and bailiffs coming Monday unless I paid into an escrow. Definitely a scam, but it’s a bit tricky to tell if the advertising firm is the one pulling the con. They had my number and said they’d ring back. Looked it up online and found this site.

This just happened to us as well today. We told the caller to send us the info via email so we could forward it to our lawyers, and then they just disconnected. The number wasn’t the same one though, it was 01174005390.

Today, I got a call for my company from someone named Chris Shepherd, who said he was a high court recovery officer chasing £4999 for some fake directory entry. He somehow got my team to give him my cell number and rang me while I was visiting a client. When I mentioned that my lawyer would get in touch with his office to clarify things, he just ended the call. Like others have said, he sounds quite believable. He also pushed me to pay through an online court site - I'm sure the site he wanted me to use wasn’t legit.

Got a call from this number today, 17/04/19, sounded really convincing at first. I looked up the number and saw all the stuff people said about it. So I decided to call him out, told him I knew exactly what he was up to. He turned out to be a proper rude and arrogant little git. Honestly, they really ought to find a proper job instead of messing about like that. Total wanker.

Got a phone call from some bloke called Chris Shepherd, who said he's with High Court enforcement. He was going on about how my company supposedly owes £4,000 to some business directory firm because of some paperwork from 2014. Thing is, we never signed anything like that, nor did we get any letters or calls before this sudden call. When I questioned him about it, he just hung up. To be safe, I checked the High Court records myself, and as expected, there's no case at all! Totally dodgy, definitely a scam.

On 8th April 2019, I got a call from someone calling himself Christopher Ian Shepherd, who claimed to be a High Court enforcer. He was insisting I pay £5000 connected to some case involving my company. It sounded pretty legit at first, but luckily we had the chance to look him and his phone number up before handing over any money. Really grateful for this website and the warnings from others about this kind of con artist.

Got a call on Thursday 4th April around 2.45pm, and they sounded really convincing. They told me there was a court case about our business that’d start in the next hour. I ended up checking the court’s opening times and found out it actually shuts at 2.00pm on Thursdays. Quite fishy if you ask me!

dodgy call alert. a bloke calling himself chris shepherd claims he’s an enforcement officer for nottingham county court. he even drops the actual court phone number to sound legit, but the number he rings from is different and hidden when you try to call back. definitely don’t share any of your personal or business info with him. it’s just a clever scam, best thing you can do is put the phone down straight away.

This scammer’s still going around. He pretends to be a bailiff and even drops the name of a real one, sometimes telling you to check on the justice.gov site for proof. He always rings from a withheld number, so best just to hang up straight away. He sounds really believable though, so watch out!
