Some absolute muppets who clearly lack the skills or creds to land any decent job that they’d be proud to put on their CV. And I’m not talking about earning a living honestly, but resorting to scams online or, like in this case, over the PHONE. Honestly, I wish they’d find some decency and sort their lives out with a proper job. Though, everyone’s free to pick their own path, but out of all the choices available, I gotta wonder why these muppets choose to be such knobs.

I was approached by someone wanting to chat with the homeowner. Since they were around, they instead requested to converse with another relative. I explained that I was just the cleaner. When they inquired as to when the family might return, I had to admit that I couldn’t provide that information.

This number seems dodgy. A woman called saying BT wanted to save me money on my mobile and tried to sell me a new SIM for £3 a month. I told her I’m not even with BT for my mobile. Then she offered to sort out my internet and phone deal, so I asked why BT were increasing their package prices. She just hung up on me.

Got a cheeky call attempting to sign me up for some broadband service, haha! I decided to humour them a bit but dodged all their inquiries-never say 'yes' or 'no', I reckon! I requested some sort of information brochure, but they insisted they don’t provide that sort of detail, so I just hung up the phone. Honestly, it's vital to stay on your toes when dealing with these salespeople. The less you divulge, the less likely you are to fall into a scam. Stay vigilant, everyone!

My mum and dad keep getting annoying calls from this number claiming they owe money to BT. But that isn’t even a BT number. When I picked up, they were really vague about why they were calling. I didn’t give them any details and they just ended up hanging up. Proper awful experience.

Got a call from some dodgy Geordie bloke calling himself Brogan, said since I’m loyal to BT, I’ve supposedly 'unlocked' special SIM offers. He knew my name, so clearly some muppets have nicked info from BT’s database. Why can’t BT catch these muppets and take real action? Cut their phone lines off and do something proper to stop this nonsense. It’s meant to be a free country, but these scammers should be put in their place!

It’s quite clear that with that 44 area code and the absence of the initial zero, they must be calling from overseas. Over the last couple of days, I've had a couple of texts from this number, and whenever I try to see the content, all I’m greeted with is some rather cheery music, much like what others have reported. I even decided to ring the number from my home phone, only to be met with the same catchy tune. It's rather upbeat, but honestly, it’s not something I’m keen on hearing again, if I'm honest!

01159101830. This is a landline. When I rang it back, there was some music playing which I reckon was a Bach prelude, probably from the 48 Preludes and Fugues of the 'Well Tempered Clavier.' The piano sounded alright, fairly in tune. It was a pretty straightforward version, not like a high quality studio track. Really odd. A landline ringing a mobile, which is unusual.

They rang me five times during work hours; I opted not to pick up any of those calls as they left no voicemail. On the sixth attempt, curiosity got the better of me and I answered. The caller claimed to be from BT, attempting to lure me back with some supposed attractive offer. I firmly expressed my disinterest, questioned how they managed to obtain my WORK number, and made it clear that further calls were unwelcome. After that, I simply hung up.

The caller had a really thick Glaswegian accent, I could hardly make out what they were saying. They were trying to push BT Broadband deals on me. These calls come in at least two times every day and they just don’t accept a no. My daughter’s studying for her GCSEs at home and these interruptions are really bothering her. A bloke with a Geordie accent said he was from BT and that he could sort me out with a cheaper deal than what I’ve got now. He knew who I am and where I live. He kept rambling on, saying "no problem, no problem" all the time. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. This number has popped up loads over the last few days, but I just ignore it.
