This number claims to be from fonewsrehouse or something similar. They’ve called me about phone deliveries but sent the wrong one twice. Also, they set up a direct debit to 02 and EE network contacts without my permission. Tried ringing them back loads of times but no one ever answers. Feels like a total rip-off to me.

Today I got a pretty scary automated message saying I was under investigation and had to ring back that number or get my lawyer involved. It really freaked me out for a bit, especially for anyone who might be more vulnerable. After thinking about it, I’m sure it’s just a scam. The number was 0115 888 4440.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were HMRC, sounding all threatening and saying I’d get into trouble if either me or my solicitor didn't ring them back. They didn’t leave any actual info though.

Got a call from a robo voice saying I had a court case against me. I played along and fed them bogus info, and then they said they pulled up my details from some online database. It’s really dodgy stuff, don’t fall for it. If you’re worried about tax, just get in touch with HMRC yourself. Stay safe!

I just got this really dodgy voicemail that sounds like it was recorded on some old computer from the 80s. The message said it was from hmre and gave me a number to ring back. Feels like a total scam to me!
