11 yearsBeware! This caller is a total freeloader! A right dodgy character, if you ask me! Definitely involved in some sort of scam. Avoid at all costs - the number is 01158881064!11 yearsIt's nothing but a con! I'm definitely going to inform the authorities about this!11 yearsTotal con artists... I've just been hoodwinked out of £449.00, which is frankly quite daft of me. They really know how to target the vulnerable, don't they?11 yearsWhatever you do, don’t part with your cash! I fell prey to a scam where they duped me out of £250, claiming it was an upfront payment for my initial statement. Then, lo and behold, they demanded another £200 in fees, promising that the funds would be deposited into my account within an hour. Thankfully, I had the sense to refrain from sending that additional amount. They keep ringing me incessantly! When I requested a refund, they flatly stated it wasn’t possible. I can’t stress enough - steer clear of this!11 yearsToday, I received three phone calls. I had been exploring loan options online, and I'm at a loss as to how they managed to obtain my information. They proposed a £2,000 loan but insisted on a £159 upfront payment for the first installment. When I explained that I'm strapped for cash and really need to borrow funds, the caller said he’d ring me back tomorrow at 10. I'm feeling quite uncertain about how to proceed...11 yearsI cannot stress enough - steer clear of these con artists! I was in the process of securing a loan when they hit me up for an upfront payment of £60, which I paid without a second thought. They assured me the funds would be in my account within an hour. Fast forward, and when the cash didn’t show up, I gave them a ring. To my disbelief, they then demanded an additional £100 for the loan to be processed! Naturally, I balked at that and requested my initial payment back. They promised it would be refunded by nightfall. The next day, no sign of the money, so I tried reaching them-honestly, I must have called over a hundred times. Whenever I did manage to get through, they’d just hang up on me! To top it off, they've since tried to contact me twice, claiming I’ve dialled the wrong number and that they’re not involved. Enough is enough; I’m reporting them to both the fraud department and the police. Absolute shambles!11 yearsI found myself a victim of a scam on the 14th of July 2015, losing a total of £146. After that initial sum, they demanded an extra £229, claiming that their head office required additional proof of my payment linked to my name because of my credit reference. I, however, declined to fork out that second fee. Being on health benefits, I was informed that I'd need to pay the first month’s fee upfront. In my eagerness to sort out a home repair, I let my common sense slip and jumped at what seemed like a manageable rate. I must emphasise, DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THIS ACCOUNT: BARCLAYS BANK, SORT CODE 205300, ACCOUNT NO. 33976319, OPERATING UNDER THE NAME ACTIVE LOANS. The individual typically goes by the name ‘Tony’ and speaks with an Indian accent. I've already flagged this matter to Barclays Bank, but my own bank has stated they cannot assist me in retrieving my funds.BARCLAYSTonyBarclays Bank11 yearsI had a similar experience with them! Such a nuisance, honestly. They claim to be a loan company, and it’s apparent they're based in India. I had a sneaky suspicion they were a bit dodgy, so I probed into their registration details. When I asked, they mentioned they were associated with Engaged Solution LTD. Naturally, I did a bit of digging online. The company does appear, but I can’t shake off this nagging feeling that things aren't quite right...IndiaEngaged Solution LTD11 yearsI’ve been getting calls from this number claiming to be a loan provider, but I’m struggling to find any information on them. All I know is that the callers seem to be from India and insist they represent a legitimate loan company with some kind of authorisation. If anyone could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it. Cheers!India11 yearsOur mate was told that if she transfers £220 tomorrow, she'll have £10,000 in her bank account. It's got to be a scam, doesn’t it?11 yearsCaution! Freeloader! Stealer!11 yearsAbsolutely, these individuals are nothing short of swindlers when it comes to loans. I should've known better than to entertain any notion of making an upfront payment-it's all a scam, pure and simple!Submit Your Own Report (0115 888 1064)
