Just got a call again from 0115 880 0308, this time I actually picked up. They were from some company called Weatherguard offering to visit your house and give a quote for treating brickwork to stop damp getting through. They kept saying it was no pressure or obligation, but I’m a bit sceptical. We’ll see how it goes.

Caller comes across like one of those pushy salespeople trying to get a foot in the door. When I asked where they got my number from, they just told me to sort it out with the UK Database. I mentioned the new Data Protection Act 2018 and asked for the directors' names and their office address. Seems pretty shady to me.

There’s also a comment above that I think might be mine. These callers don’t give up easily. Is it marketing? Yeah, persistent marketing for sure. But harassing? Absolutely. So this number rang me today, 31st August. I had caller ID on, and since I didn’t know the number and it seemed like one of those telemarketers, I just let it go to my voicemail.
