Absolutely infuriating!

I'm thoroughly fed up with these robotic messages. It's as if you can barely breathe for five seconds before they become irritable. It’s really quite frustrating!

"Putting a phone up for sale, aren’t they? It would be rather nice if they permitted you to do that!"

Clearly, this is a classic PPI scam. Whatever you do, don’t press five or nine. Make sure to report it to the ICO as well. When enough people take action, there’s a greater likelihood of these scammers facing fines or even being put out of business altogether.

I received a call from this number earlier today, but they didn't bother leaving a message. Our number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service and also with Ex Directory, so I'm quite curious to see how the Information Commissioner's Office will handle this situation.

I recently received a call from this number, it seems to be affiliated with some kind of PPP company.

I got a phone call from this number, but honestly, I couldn't quite make sense of what was said.

It’s a right scam related to PPI! Whatever you do, don’t press 5 or 9 if you get a call from them. Make sure to report it to the ICO. The number seems to be from the Nottingham area.

I've lodged a complaint with the ICO. Honestly, I'm absolutely fed up with these annoying phone scammers. It's high time the government took action and implemented some proper regulations!

I've been getting a strange combination of calls lately-some of them are pre-recorded messages, while others just go quiet as soon as I pick up. Quite infuriating, really! It's as if they're toying with me, terminating the call the moment I respond.

In recent weeks, I've received a number of calls from this particular number. Each time I pick up, there's utter silence on the other end. I even attempted to return the call, only to be informed that the number is unrecognised. While I pride myself on being quite a patient individual, I must admit I'm increasingly exasperated by the incessant ringing of my phone, sometimes as early as a quarter to eight in the morning and as late as seven in the evening. It's becoming rather tiresome!

We received a call from this number today. I reckon someone really ought to flag it up, but to whom does one report such things?

I urge everyone to flag these fraudulent operators! They’re up to their old tricks with PPI scams.

I’ve received multiple calls from this number, yet they haven’t bothered to leave a voicemail. Quite puzzling!

I didn’t recognise the caller’s number, so I decided to look it up while it was ringing - your website popped up in the search results. I opted not to pick up as it just kept on ringing! I’m seriously considering getting one of those new BT phones that only allow calls from numbers I’ve saved in advance. Sounds like a brilliant solution!

I answered the call only to be greeted by an automated PPI message that seemed to be already in motion when I lifted the receiver.

I get bombarded with calls from the number 01158717037 at least once a week. It’s always a woman with a British accent telling me about a potential PPI payout I might be entitled to, urging me to press 5 for more information or 9 if I want to opt-out. I simply ignore both options and hang up. Despite registering with the Telephone Preference Service, these annoying calls keep coming. Most of the time, it’s from various unknown callers, often with strong Indian accents. The TPS claims they can’t prevent calls from firms conducting market research or such non-sales activities. To really stop these calls, they suggest I inform each individual company to remove me from their lists. But how on earth can I do that when the callers never identify themselves or their businesses? The TPS feels like just another toothless organisation meant to assist customers, but in reality, it’s quite ineffective.

Hey Dave, Gave you a ring last week, but it looks like there might be an issue with your number. It starts to ring and then just cuts off abruptly! Give me a bell, love!

I couldn’t find any information on the number that appeared. If I had a spare moment, I’d certainly keep them chatting and drain their time, but alas, I wouldn’t earn a penny for it, unlike them, I suppose.

I got a call from this number earlier today, even though I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list. In response, I’ve added the number to my blocked contacts. Should they try to ring me again, they’ll just hear a busy signal before being cut off. My blocked list just keeps growing!

I had a rather unwanted phone call from that number earlier today, even though I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list. It's quite vexing, really! I've gone ahead and added this number to my 'banned callers' list. Should they happen to try their luck again, they'll simply be met with a busy signal upon dialling. My blocked list seems to be expanding daily!

My phone rang with an automated voice, yammering on about Barclays and a few other banks. Curiously, I pressed 5 to connect with someone named Chloe from 'Financial Claim'. She promptly asked for my name. It turned out to be a PPI scam touting a complimentary investigation; apparently, many folks have managed to reclaim some cash. I quipped, "If you actually get me my money back, I suppose you’ll expect a cut, won’t you?" She seemed quite taken aback, as if it hadn’t crossed her mind how her firm stood to gain from a successful claim. When I requested a contact number, she rudely accused me of wasting her precious time!

I've been getting calls from this number on my private landline, which doesn't receive calls from unknown sources. Most of the time, it’s just dead silence on the other end, but I suspect they might be those pesky PPI claim hunters. I urge everyone to make a report about it.
