i picked up the phone and an indian guy asked me if I was familiar with lionel messi. i told him yes, very much so. then he just ended the call abruptly.

Around 4 in the afternoon I answered, expecting it to be about a possible new job. They launched into this whole speech about ocean conservation and plastic pollution with Greenpeace. Then they pushed really hard for me to agree to monthly donations. It was super annoying trying to politely say no. I checked and Greenpeace told me they do work with some fundraising group called Thirty One based in Norwich.

As soon as I told them I wasn’t involved in the accident and they had the wrong person, they got really rude and hostile. If I were you, I wouldn’t pick up. I’ve already blocked the number, but knowing how these things go, they’ll probably keep ringing from different numbers all the time.
