My phone showed that this number was calling, it rang just once and then suddenly it popped up as a missed call.

someone keeps calling me about weird stuff like my amazon prime, dodgy charges on my card, even said they’d cut my internet off and threatened prosecution over taxes i didn’t even know about. it freaked me out the first few times, but now it’s like the tenth time those scams pop up, i just end the call and move on. my main worry is that one day i might miss a real warning if i just hang up straight away.

They’ve been ringing me off and on for about four months straight but never bother to leave any message. When I pick up, all I get is silence, like they’re waiting for me to say something first. Probably just another ppi scam. Luckily, now that I've got a mobile, I just blocked the number - so much simpler to deal with.

There was this really rude woman who got annoyed just 'cos I said no and hung up, but then she called me right back after a couple of minutes and kept being so nasty. Then she passes me onto some older guy. I told him straight up that if I wanted to sort out PPI, I'd do it myself and didn't need their help. Told him over and over to erase my info and questioned how they even had it in the first place! Turns out they bought the list from some other firm or something, which is pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent who surprisingly knew my name. There was a long silence before he finally asked if he could speak to me. I heard a few voices faintly in the background, so I guessed it might be someone from a call centre. Didn’t recognise the number at all, so I just turned my phone off instead of picking up.

I was taken aback when they addressed me by name, and when I probed a bit further, their attitude turned quite brusque and dismissive. I decided to hang up on them. There’s no way I’ll engage with them again!
