What a mug, we work remotely, they cut into a conference call we was having on our work number, and then got all flustered when we asked what company they was with.

The Claims Helpdesk has contacted me 3 times in the last fortnight, but they refuse to provide any further info. Whenever I ask for clarification, they just end the call. I’ve had four calls today while I’m off sick, just as I’m about to pick up, and then it happens all over again. They seriously should be fined for this.

Got a automated call about PPI, looks like a total scam and definitely one of those annoying spam calls. This number keeps ringing me again and again with a recorded voice telling me to press 5 if I wanna continue. If you dont press anything, they just cut off. Sometimes i just dont hang up, leave the call going and put the phone near the radio - tying their line up a bit. Bit daft, but it cheers me up a little.

Got a call from someone saying i'd be getting £100,000 in the post as a PPI refund. When i said i was at work, she said it’d only take a min. I told her i never applied for anything and she asked how i knew that, then i said i know my own accounts. After that, she just hung up. They’ve tried ringing me 4 times in the last week. Really irritating as they keep ringing until i pick up. Blocked the number now!

PPI calls are the worst, when I told them I had none they just kept arguing, then started laughing and abruptly ended the call. The voice sounded South African.

When I mentioned I found it odd because the call showed from Nottingham, not Manchester, they just ended the call. I’ve passed the number on to my bank to look into it.

Got a call about some PPI thing, saying I might be owed money since I’ve got bank accounts, credit cards, a mortgage, or loans - that’s how they pitched it. They said they’d send me a couple of letters to explain everything and then check on loans, credit cards, mortgages, and companies in the next six weeks. But to do that, they wanted my date of birth. I told her there was no way I’d share personal details with someone I don’t even know. She kept pushing, but I just ended the call.

This lady said she's sending a letter regarding PPI reclaim and needed me to verify my address. I kept dodging giving any details by asking loads of questions about the letter and what PPI she meant, pretending I didn't understand to throw her off her game. She was getting proper annoyed, which was quite amusing, but eventually I told her I’m signed up with another claims firm so I couldn’t go with her lot. I received a call today from a representative claiming they were dispatching a payment pack, as I apparently had £2,500 due to me. When I inquired about the reason for this amount, she vaguely mentioned my previous financial dealings but couldn't provide any details, even after I pressed for clarification. Got a ring tonight while I was out eating with the family. Like I usually do, I put the call on speaker and turned it into a little Q&A session for everyone. We kept the caller hanging for about 7 minutes and 23 seconds before he started moaning about wasting his time. My personal best is 37 minutes and 43 seconds though! Received a rather suspicious call from this number earlier today. An Asian woman was on the other end, trying to pry personal details from me. I suspected it was a scam right away, so I decided to play along to see what else she'd say. Yet, when I probed for more details, she was completely stumped. Her English was dreadful, and she came across as rather impolite. Eventually, she ended the call rather abruptly, claiming it was my fault for not comprehending her. Quite the experience!

This number rang me up and I dumbly picked up. It was about PPI. I explained that I’ve never taken out a mortgage, loan or credit card, so there’s no reason to send me anything. Then the bloke got really rude and started accusing me of lying. I got quite annoyed and argued back. Next thing, he was describing my house!!! I’m sure he’d looked my address up online. This particular number has been pestering me with calls every other day. Each time I pick up, they’re asking for a chap named Mr Taylor. I inform them that such a name isn’t associated with my number, and they promptly hang up, only to ring again later on. Last week, I thought I’d play along and pretended to be Mr Taylor, only to discover they were fishing for bank account details. It’s quite infuriating! Does anyone know how I can put a stop to these calls on my mobile?

Just got a call on my personal mobile, the line wasn’t clear but it was a woman with an Asian accent who kept saying I had £2.5k PPI. I asked her which company she was with since I’m actually working on a legit PPI claim right now. She said “The PPI team”, so I asked what company’s PPI team she meant and she called me ignorant! I told her I wasn’t being ignorant, just trying to find out who she was representing. Then she said “Oh f#ck off” and hung up. Lovely! Is there any way to find out which call centre that was? I’d quite like to sort it out with them.

I just received another phone call from this number-some woman waffling on about PPI. I told her to knock it off, and then I heard this bizarre 'static' on the line. When I paused for a moment, she suddenly goes, "Apologies, the line's dreadful; could you repeat that?" I found it rather suspicious and replied, "How convenient!" I warned her that if they kept pestering me, I’d report them. Lo and behold, I heard that odd static once more before they abruptly ended the call. It's blatantly a scam, isn't it?

Some bloke rang my phone and asked for my other half. When I queried where he found my number, he just ended the call. This isn't the first time I've had calls like this over the past few months. The only place I've listed my partner’s name alongside my number is in the voter registration confirmation sent by the council. I’m proper annoyed they’re able to share my info, especially after I clearly said I want it kept private.

Got a call from some PPI team and the guy was really nasty. He said I don’t understand “modern times” and the way data sharing works. Then he started asking for my bank info, my birthday, and other private stuff. I’m only 11 and my mum said it’s ok for me to write this because that man was so rude it upset me. Got a call from someone named Bradley who claimed to be from Australia. He was really rude and made some racist remarks, which I found quite threatening and upsetting. We ended up arguing for about 25 minutes because I was clear I wasn’t interested. Then he threatened to share my number with all 45 branches of their business. When I asked for the company’s name, he said it was something like PPI Team. Left me absolutely livid - can’t believe they think it’s okay. This sort of behaviour needs to be stopped!

When I asked where they got my number from, she mentioned something about a national consumer database. I told her to take me off their calling list and never ring me back, but she just cut the call. Got a really bad call from someone who seemed dodgy. They somehow already knew some bits about me and then asked if I have a bank account and credit card. I just received an utterly unpleasant phone call from someone named 'Mike'. Honestly, I could barely make sense of what he was droning on about. I asked why he needed that if he was really from the card company, and he got quite rude. Told him to sort himself out and find a real job. The bloke sounded Asian and his English was pretty bad. I got a call from someone saying they were from the "Payment Protection Team" about some PPI thing. They knew my uni address from like a decade ago and asked for my current one to send some paperwork.
