Got another call from this firm claiming they were ringing about government benefits linked to my life insurance. When I asked for the company name, he said it was Life Protect, but when I requested their website, he refused to provide it. I told him I couldn’t trust him if he wouldn’t share his company’s details, but he said he wasn’t allowed to give that info. Once he saw I wasn’t giving any details, he just ended the call! I’ve blocked the number now, but it’s pointless since they’ll just use a different one to call again.

Totally a scam, watch out!

I checked this number and it shows up as coming from New Delhi. Lately, I've been getting a bunch of dodgy calls supposedly from Citizens Advice but actually from call centres in India. So, I’m pretty sure this one’s the same type of scam, probably hoping to trick me into sharing my bank info by pushing some IVA nonsense I neither want nor need. Feels like just another ploy to con money out of me.
