I’ve just blocked this number after they tried saying my address was at risk. Total rubbish and clearly a scam.

I picked up the phone and this robotic voice was going on about my router's IP being hacked in loads of countries, saying they’d have to cut off my internet in 3 days. I just hung up straight away without hearing more.

I picked up and this robotic American voice came on telling me not to panic but said someone had been accessing my router's IP address. Then it asked me to press 1 to speak to a technician or 2 to cancel my internet. I didn’t do anything and then the call just dropped on me.
