3 yearsI was approached with a proposal to cut my O2 phone bills by a whopping 35%. However, something feels amiss since I've never even been an O2 customer. It strikes me as highly dodgy - probably a scam!3 yearsI received a peculiar phone call from a chap named Steve claiming to represent EE, who promised to slash my bill from £20 down to £12. Shortly after, I got an email informing me that an iPhone 15 Pro Max was on its way to me, alongside a hefty monthly charge of £68. When I reached out to Steve for clarification, he insisted that the email had been a mix-up and belonged to someone else. I promptly got in touch with EE and managed to halt the whole thing. A bit of a coincidence, I suppose, that on the same day, there were attempts to hack into my Facebook account. The other numbers that contacted me included 01618439720 from Manchester and 07307350285. EE confirmed it was all a scam!SteveEEManchester3 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to be from O2, insisting they could lower my monthly bill. I promptly told them to take my number off their calling list and to stop pestering me, adding that I'd have no choice but to report them if they persisted. To my astonishment, the caller threatened to hike my bill up to the maximum amount! I've since reached out to O2 directly to flag this number. Quite the cheek, isn’t it?3 yearsIsn't it peculiar? The moment you confront them directly and inquire about the purpose of their call, they seem to vanish into thin air! I'm really getting fed up with all these pestering scam calls. Signing up with the Telephone Preference Service hasn’t made a jot of difference, unfortunately.Telephone Preference Service3 yearsReceived a call purporting to be from O2, promising me some hefty discount. The only issue is, I'm not an O2 customer, so I quickly realised it was likely a scam aimed at gaining access to my phone and details. Rather than waste my time entertaining them, I opted to simply hang up.Submit Your Own Report (0115 791 0382)
