I ignored this call since I’ve no one living in Nottingham. A while back, I got a scam call claiming to be from Vodafone saying my data was all used up and I had to pay by card. Luckily I didn’t give them anything and ended up changing my phone number. Now, despite that, this number’s ringing me again! Honestly, you have to watch your back constantly nowadays, it’s really disheartening.

Received a phone call purporting to be from Vodafone. The chap on the line didn’t even know my name! He had the audacity to say he was offering me a whopping 40% off my bill. When I pressed him on it, he said he couldn’t access my information because it was all encrypted on his screen. To top it off, he read out the final four digits of my number to try and convince me he was legit. I told him that if he truly represented Vodafone and had a credible offer, he should get back to me once he has a clue about my identity. The caller had an Indian accent and it sounded like he was in some sort of noisy environment, perhaps a call centre.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from Vodafone and could give me 40% off my bill. He didn’t know my name or any real details about my account, just the last four digits of my phone number, which he’d just rung. Tried fishing for personal info but I didn’t fall for it. Pretty sure he wasn’t legit Vodafone at all.

I got a call from this number, then the very next day a different one called me with exactly the same spiel. They claimed to be from Vodafone, but I don’t even have an account with them. The person sounded like they had an Asian accent, so it was pretty clear to me it was another scam.

Got a call a moment ago from someone saying they were with Vodafone and that I could get 40% off my bill... They asked for my email and password (which I didn't give) and then sent a verification code to me... I told them I wouldn’t share details over the phone as the email warns against it... They kept pushing even after I said I'd ring Vodafone myself... Ended up having to hang up on them.
