I got a call on my home phone and the person on the other end wanted to speak to my partner, but they just ended the call right after that.

I said hello and the bloke immediately wanted to speak to me by my name, but as soon as I said something he just ended the call. Seems like this number's usual trick is to check if your name matches and then just drop the call. Feels like my details are being snapped up and sold off super fast for a tidy profit!

Got a call on my mobile but as soon as I said who I was, they just hung up.

Seems like they’re going through an outdated list just to see if the numbers still work.

I’m guessing they’ll ring me again soon, probably to bother me about some dodgy pension scheme...

Got a call from a bloke earlier who wanted to speak to my missus and used her name. I told him she wasn’t around and he just cut the call right away.

My landline rang and when I picked up, the person asked if my husband was there. Then they quickly mentioned they were calling from the pensions advisory service, but as soon as I asked what the call was about, they just ended the call. Pretty strange behaviour!

I asked some questions to the so-called Pension Advisory Service and they just cut me off! Definitely feels like a total scam to me!

Got a call today, the caller asked for my wife by her name, but as soon as I told them she wasn't around, they just ended the call straight away!

Someone rang my phone looking for my husband. I told them he was out at work and asked if there was anything I could do, but they just hung up straight away. What’s really odd is that the only place I’ve ever given my mobile to be used for my husband was at the dentist's, since I didn’t have his number then. I only gave them my number that once, so I’m guessing the dentist must have passed our details on to others.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Pension Info Service, mentioned the FSA was involved. They said they’d just looked over my pensions. When I told them "yeah sure, sounds good," the line just went dead.

I received a call from a chap named Frazer who claimed to be affiliated with a pension advisory firm. He inquired whether I was up to speed with the latest adjustments in pension legislation. When I probed further, he mentioned that his firm had acquired my number through another marketing agency. I informed him that I had registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested he take my number off his list, as well as urge the firm that provided it to do likewise. He promptly ended the call without a single word in response.
