My phone rang and the caller asked for me, but using my old surname. I told them that nobody with that name lives here anymore. The bloke, who had a bit of an accent, sounded a bit confused before he just said alright and ended the call. Whenever someone rings using my former name, it always makes me want to check who’s calling.

I've received multiple calls from this number-13, to be precise-only to find it flagged as a potential scam. I thought it best not to pick up, so I chose to block it instead. Just a heads-up to others out there! Stay vigilant!

Got a call on my phone back on 19th Jan 2023 from a bloke who said his name was Ron and claimed he was ringing from Unique Choice. He started off saying it’d only take a quick 20 seconds. Oddly, he already knew my full name and where I live, then asked if I owned my place and that sort of stuff. Anyway, after about 4 minutes chatting, I said I wasn’t really interested and mentioned I was actually at work. Then he suddenly switched gears and asked if I fancied joining Super Slots. I flat out said no. Weirdly enough, the very next day I started getting texts from Super Slots pushing their gambling stuff!

Got a call on my phone around 10th Jan 2023. The bloke said he was Rowan from a company called Unique Choice. He already had my name and address and asked whether I owned the place, rented it or stayed with family. Looks like I've noticed the same firm ringing others from 01157789767 too.

Definitely one of those annoying cold calls.

I've had four calls today, each one coming from a slightly different version of this same phone number. I picked up the very first one. The bloke on the line said his name was ‘Ron’ and claimed he wasn’t trying to sell me anything, just needed 20 seconds of my time and promised they wouldn’t bother me again. Those 20 seconds ended up being him rattling off my name and address, and when I didn’t reply, he started getting rude. I ended up hanging up once the time was up. Since then, I’ve had another three calls in the last day but haven't bothered answering anymore.

Honestly, they said pretty much the same thing to me, like “just 20 seconds” and then they’d never ring back, but it’s obviously a total scam.
