I received a rather dodgy call from someone masquerading as a representative from Carphone Warehouse, claiming to have a fantastic offer on an iPhone at a reduced price. It’s clearly a scam! I highly recommend you add this number to your blocked contacts straight away.

Received a series of probing questions, so I decided to cut off communication. Claims to be an Asian woman from the UK, but I'm rather sceptical about that.

I had a rather garbled call from someone with an unfamiliar accent who seemed eager to chat for a moment.

This chap knew my full name and kept insisting he wasn't trying to sell me anything, yet all he wanted was a brief moment of my attention, which he solicited several times. It certainly felt dodgy to me; as soon as I mentioned I had no interest in his pitch, he promptly ended the call. Quite the pushy character, if you ask me.

I kept inquiring about their location, and they insisted they were from the UK before trying to move forward with their agenda. When I pressed for clarification again, they rudely questioned my hearing abilities! After a few more unpleasant exchanges, I decided to hang up on them.

I received two calls from this number but couldn’t answer either time. Having seen the feedback from others, I've made up my mind to block it.

They appeared to know my name right from the start, and then proceeded to confirm it with me. Then she said, "Please don’t misunderstand me; I just need a moment of your time to ask a couple of questions.” I had to inform her that I was busy with work and couldn't spare any time for this. The caller had an Indian accent, and I suspect the call was routed from abroad, as it came through with a Nottingham area code.
