Got a phone call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was from Eon and asking for me by name. They’ve rung me over five times since just before Christmas, always speaking in a strong Indian accent, asking for a Debbie Xxxx. I’ve told them loads of times that there’s no one by that name here and they should update their info. So, someone called saying they were Rose from IFS, looking into pension fraud, asking if I’d ever been given advice about moving pensions. When I asked her to confirm who she was again, it felt like they were just trying to get me to transfer my pension somehow. I told her, “So you’re trying to sell me something, that’s pretty dodgy,” and she just hung up straight away. If it was a real call, why hang up so quick? Sounds a lot like a pension scam to me.
