This number rang me just after midnight, around 12:01 am. I didn’t pick up, but it honestly freaked me out. I reckon it’s linked to some scam, maybe something to do with Telegram. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

So I got a message today saying a five-digit code was sent to the Telegram app, which is weird cuz I don’t even have Telegram installed on this phone! It said something about my number being used on two different WhatsApp devices and asked me to confirm if the number was mine. Then it talked about temporarily suspending my number’s service for 12 hours if I didn’t confirm. They asked me to send back some activation code they supposedly sent, to prove the WhatsApp number is mine. Then the message said their company would get back to me with the code and told me to wait for further instructions. Honestly, sounds like a bit of a scam to me. Just waiting to see if they get in touch again.

Got a message claiming I attempted to delete my account - which I definitely didnt do. I ended up blocking the two texting numbers that reached out and reported them to WhatsApp. This number +465943905204 is one of them, from Gibraltar, but I’m not the only person getting these messages.
