They kicked off the call by mentioning my name right away, and then all of a sudden, I found myself listening to some hold music while I waited. Quite the experience, I must say!

I had a rather unexpected chat with someone regarding my insurance recently. I mentioned that my policy isn’t up for review for quite a few months yet. However, the caller became quite insistent, even probing into whether I’m on any medications. I made it clear that my insurer is already in possession of all that information, and I wasn’t comfortable discussing anything further at this moment, quite unsure of how they even got my number. They insisted that I must have consented to my details being shared with third-party companies. I refrained from providing any of my personal information.
