Since January, I keep getting calls from this number on my phone. I always ignore them.

I received a call from someone who seemed to know my name and my location quite well. They were touting some sort of grant to upgrade my boiler. However, when I requested their address, they hesitated before finally stating, "5 Glaisdale Drive, NG8 4GU". This address surprisingly corresponds to a business that has absolutely no connection to either telemarketing or boiler services. We explicitly told them not to ring us again - it all felt rather suspicious.

Got a call from a Nottingham number, this woman with an Eastern European accent was on the line. She was pushing some air source heat pumps for a small business or something. Just sounded like typical sales talk, so I’d say steer clear.

I got a call from some woman about home improvements who I'd never come across before, and she actually knew my name! She rang me at my house, trying to pitch her business. Since when do companies find out personal addresses just to cold call? Feels totally wrong to me, like it’s some kind of harassment.

I haven't a clue who this person might be. I chose not to pick up the call, but I gave them a ring using another line, and they wouldn't take my call either. Instead, all I got was a looping voicemail that mentioned they were occupied. If someone genuinely needed to reach you, surely they'd leave a message, right? This number didn’t do so, which makes me think it's a bit dodgy.

I’m not familiar with this number and have no clue how they obtained my contact details. I tend to ignore unsolicited calls, particularly those claiming to conduct surveys, and I usually block them straight away. Cheers!

They seemed to have my name on hand and inquired if I was privy to "the secret". I promptly ended the call and blocked the number. It’s baffling how they managed to get hold of my digits!
