I got a call on my mobile this morning at about 10:25, but I was out doing some shopping and couldn’t pick up. Didn’t get around to calling back or finding out who it was until this evening. Turns out it was a recruitment agency I applied to for a job. Seems like it wasn’t urgent though - if it really was, I’m sure they would have emailed me, sent a text, or tried phoning again. Also, when I got home, there was no message on the landline either to let me know someone was trying to contact me.

Received a voicemail from what sounded like Amazon saying I’d placed an order worth more than a grand. They mentioned it looked suspicious and that my account was frozen. Went on to ask me to press a button. I just ended the call. About to block the number now.

They keep ringing me all the time, and loads of the time, there’s nobody actually there when I answer. I’ve blocked tons of their numbers already. Today I did get through to a bloke who got my name completely wrong, and when I asked him to remove me from their calling list, he started making silly noises down the phone. Really poor behaviour!

Someone rang up asking for my missus. Thing is, she’s been gone for over two years now. I told the lady on the line that she’d passed away, but she just wouldn’t believe me and hung up on me straight away.

First, they wanted to speak to me. I said, "Who’s this?" Then she asked if I was the person they were trying to reach. I asked again, "Who is this?" and that’s when they just ended the call! 😂
